How God Sees You Changes Everything

Did you know the average person is exposed to thousands of advertisements daily—anywhere from 4,000 to as many as 10,000 per day?*

Every single day, you’re bombarded with messages trying to shape your identity and define your worth.

Add to that the pressure to earn approval—whether from people, employers, or even yourself—and it’s no wonder we’re constantly asking:
Who am I, really?

So in a sea of competing voices, the most important question becomes:

How does God see me?

God Knows Exactly Who You Are

Let’s be honest. On our own, we’re kind of a mess. The Bible doesn’t sugarcoat it:
  • “He knows we are dust.” – Psalm 103:14
  • “The human heart is the most deceitful of all things.” – Jeremiah 17:9
  • “The wages of sin is death.” – Romans 6:23
  • “Apart from Me, you can do nothing.” – John 15:5

But here’s the good news: That’s your starting point, not your final destination.

God Sees You as Qualified

There’s nothing you can do to earn God’s approval. If you’ve been striving to earn that gold star, sorry, it’s not going to happen.
And that should be a relief!

Because it’s not about your performance. It’s about His grace.

You are qualified—right now—because of Jesus.

“Giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints…”
– Colossians 1:12

You’ve been delivered from darkness.
You’ve been transferred into His Kingdom.
Your sins? Not just covered—forgiven.

You’re not trying to earn it—you’re already walking in it.

It Starts with Salvation

Before you go any further, I have to emphasize that this freedom is available to everyone, but only those who accept Jesus Christ as their Messiah, as their Savior, walk in this reality!

If you haven’t accepted Christ yet, now’s the time.

Salvation has nothing to do with being perfect or trying to earn God’s love and favor. Salvation comes by His grace through faith.

By declaring that Jesus is Lord and by believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you receive His forgiveness and are saved through faith alone and stand as an heir.

“Say with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord.” Believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead. Then you will be saved. With your heart you believe and are made right with God. With your mouth you say you believe. And so you are saved.”
- Romans 10:9-10

It’s that simple.

You Are Blameless and Free

When God looks at you, He sees someone holy, blameless, and without fault.

“Yet now He has reconciled you… and you are holy and blameless as you stand before Him without a single fault.”
– Colossians 1:22

This isn’t a future version of you—this is your identity now.
No more living like a spiritual orphan. You’re a son. You’re a daughter.

You Are Complete in Christ

Here’s where Sozo freedom really comes alive:
  • No secret knowledge required.
  • No religious rule-keeping needed.
  • Your old nature? Cut away.
  • The Law’s accusations? Canceled.
  • The enemy’s power? Broken.

"In Christ lives all the fullness of God… and you are complete through your union with Christ.”
– Colossians 2:9–10

You’ve Already Died to the Old You

Religion says: “Try harder. Do better. Follow the rules.”
Jesus says: “It is finished.”

“You died with Christ, and He has set you free from the spiritual powers of this world…”
– Colossians 2:20

So why keep dragging around what Jesus already buried?

Why This Matters

When you truly understand how God sees you, everything changes:
  • Your life is no longer defined by shame
  • Your family gets the best version of you—free, joyful, whole
  • Your friendships thrive because you're no longer striving

You’re not chasing identity.
You’re living from it.

Final Thought

Sozo isn’t just a theological concept.
It’s the reality of your life in Christ:
  • Qualified
  • Blameless
  • Complete
  • Free

Let that truth soak in this week.
Walk boldly. Speak confidently. Love deeply.

You are who He says you are.
